Horniman Museum & Gardens

Pick Me Design was privileged to be approached by The Horniman Museum and Gardens to assist in their drive to target a new generation of visitors to the South London attraction. This job demanded the services of both a graphic designer and illustrator. The first stage involved designing a poster and flyers that would be used at various schools and colleges to recruit young people to be part of the Horniman Youth Panel. Once we had attracted a group for the youth panel, I worked with the young people to create an identity to represent the panel. This ‘stamp’ would be used on future promotional material such as the ‘Take Over’ event flyer, t-shirts, stationery (including pens and notepads) sweets and even projected onto the museum walls!

Sarah worked with us on designing the Horniman Youth Panel logo and was brilliant with the young people. She listened to their comments and suggestions and came up with some innovative and creative designs. She was very professional and personable throughout her time working with us and gave the young people a glimpse of what it felt like to work with professionals. I would not hesitate to work with her again.
